Georgia Stars 2031 Gold 8th Grade Jr EYBLO pen Launches Annual Fundraising Campaign

The Georgia Stars 2031 Gold 8th Grade Jr EYBL Open is proud to officially launch its annual fundraising campaign as the team prepares to compete on the elite Jr EYBL Open platform.

This campaign is about more than helping a basketball team compete. It is an investment in talented 14-year-old student-athletes who are working to improve their basketball skills, succeed academically, strengthen their character, and grow into confident, disciplined, and responsible young people. Competing at the Jr EYBL Open level requires significant preparation and resources. Funds raised through this campaign will directly support:

• Jr EYBL Open and tournament registration fees

• Travel, transportation, and lodging

• Meals and hydration during team events

• Gym rentals and practice expenses

• Uniforms, shoes, equipment, and team apparel

• Professional coaching and player-development training

• Coaches’ stipends and approved team-related travel expenses

• Academic accountability, mentorship, and leadership development

• Other essential expenses that support the players’ success

To manage this campaign professionally, the Georgia Stars 2031 Gold 8th Grade Jr EYBL Open has partnered with Vertical Raise, a longstanding fundraising partner supporting Georgia Stars programs. Vertical Raise provides a trusted and secure fundraising platform that allows families, friends, businesses, and community supporters to contribute safely and confidently.

We understand that some families can afford the complete cost of participating in elite travel basketball, while others cannot. Our program is committed to working together as one team so that financial circumstances do not prevent a deserving student-athlete from receiving the training, exposure, support, and opportunity to compete.

This fundraising campaign represents the meaning of teamwork. Players, parents, coaches, supporters, and community partners are coming together to accomplish one shared mission. When everyone contributes, participates, and supports the campaign, the entire team becomes stronger.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, helps reduce the financial burden placed on participating families and allows these young student-athletes to remain focused on their education, development, teamwork, and preparation for the upcoming Jr EYBL Open season.

The mission of the Georgia Stars 2031 Gold 8th Grade Jr EYBL Open is not simply to develop talented basketball players. The program teaches accountability, discipline, academic responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and respect while helping each player grow both on and off the court.

We invite individuals, businesses, community organizations, and corporate partners to support the Georgia Stars 2031 Gold 8th Grade Jr EYBL Open. You can help by contributing, sharing the official fundraising campaign, sponsoring a player, or connecting the team with potential supporters.

Together, we can give these 14-year-old student-athletes the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to succeed on the court, in the classroom, and throughout their development.

Support the team. Invest in the players. Help us accomplish our mission together.
